The Hotel is part of a Masterplan for the redevelopment of a reception area open to the public that began with the restoration of the service station designed by Marcello D’Olivo in the 1960s, now dedicated to catering and an urban entrance signal to the entire system.
The volumes are grafted onto a long stone wall, a typical construction of the Friulian landscape, which constitutes a protective backbone that organizes different flows and functions, generating two large and silent green courtyards, carefully designed, which connect the multiple functions: hospitality, catering, public activities and wellness.
Very few materials were used: stone, cement, wood and metal.
