The service station built in 1962 with its bold structure can be considered a “small” representative synthesis of Marcello D’Olivo’s language.
The condition of degradation and abandonment required a considerable design effort in respect of the architecture characterized by ten columns supporting an arched shelter with a cantilever of approximately eleven meters towards the National road.
The building is configured as a “lantern”, a distinctive sign in the gray panorama of the state road, which lights up again, generating new meeting and socialization places.
